Good morning! May the grace and peace of Christ be with you. First of all - a heart felt "thank you" to all who have already so generously donated items and funds to provide much needed support for the Afghan Refugees at Quantico! Your donations and prayers are working wonders.
The parish is working closely with the US Catholic Conference of Bishops who brings a lot of experience in emergency response and refugee resettlement. They are amazed at the generosity of the parish and so grateful for the parish leadership of Francia Salguero, the Director of Francis House, and the support of our pastor, Fr. John O'Connor OFM.
The Need Continues
Francia has received a list of newly requested items and Fr. John has approved sending out this Flocknote email with the list of needs. If you are willing and able to support this effort, please see the list of items below. All donated items must be new and unworn and may be left at the Church.
